COBA Impact Manufacturing PLC located in Addis Ababa Ethiopia, launched its operations in Ethiopia in 2011 by joining forces with Universal Plastic Factory PLC. UPF is owned by an Italian family whose heritage in Ethiopia dates from the late 1900’s. It is the leader in glass bottle crates manufacturing in Ethiopia and supplies almost all of the local beverage industry such as EASBC Coca Cola, SAB Miller, BGI (Castel Group), Heineken, Diageo and many local producers. Today, Coba Impact is a proud leader in Ethiopia of the following manufactring business.

• Collection and recycling of PET bottles and HDPE in reusable flakes for export markets.
• Polyester Monofilament Fibers for Brooms and Brushes converted from recycled PET Flakes.
• Household and outdoor brooms made from fully recycled plastic materials.
